Description

  • The Brand Manager will be responsible for supporting strategic and brand plan development/implementation for WES Brands fast-growing portfolio of brands. They will exhibit a general manager mindset and will be responsible for leading breakthrough projects that will aim to achieve two critical goals; a) build brand equity and, b) drive brand performance through long term profitable growth. This individual needs to be a proactive, self-starter that is skilled at inspiring internal and external partners, driving collaboration and alignment and problem solving. The Brand Manager needs to be skilled at driving all levers of the P&L, developing annual marketing/commercial plans, creating breakthrough partnership and culture plans. This person will work closely with the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Senior Brand Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as day-to-day general manager; develop brand Annual Operating Plan and Consumer Engagement Platform; Manage brand P&L, drive A&P spend guidelines.
  • Leads agencies (creative, media buying, experiential social/influencer) and work with internal partners (PR and Digital) to develop and execute integrated and highly impactful communications for the brands, across multiple consumer & customer touchpoints that deliver brand goals
  • Support Senior Brand Director in collaboration with the Content Hub to build brand content and communications. Own development of below the line on and off premise programing and asset creation, ensuring a cohesive through the line approach.
  • Support the development of national programs/strategies with flexibility and local adaptation in mind
  • Establish strong partnership with commercial organization
  • Stays close to the marketplace to ensure that commercial efforts are focused on the appropriate areas to grow the brand across through-the-line touchpoints
  • Develop and monitor A&P budgets

Experience

  • 4+ years marketing experience within food & beverage with a track record of creating/implementing brand strategies and campaigns with tangible results. Luxury marketing experience also a plus.
  • Highly capable at presenting and communicating to leadership and cross functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving and financial/business understanding
  • Ability to demonstrate consumer insight and achieve creative excellence and effective marketing programs
  • Strong commercial skill with ability to enroll and motivate a large, complex sales organization
  • Ability to work closely and professionally with high-profile talent and communicate consistently with their teams (managers, agents, publicists, assistants, etc)
  • Ability to maintain positive outlook amidst challenges and effectively problem-solve and make decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively, prioritize and drive to action
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Data Analysis, Syndicated Research (i.e., Nielsen)
  • Ability to travel 30% of the year
