The entrepreneurial and employee-owned company pairs high-potential brands in expanding categories with brand partners to drive awareness. The portfolio currently includes Flecha Azul Tequila, Fraser & Thompson Whiskey, and BSB Flavored Whiskey, with new innovations to come. We are looking for a highly motivated Content & Social Media Manager to join our team. As a Content & Social Media Manager at WES Brands, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing efforts. You will manage all social media channels, develop engaging content, and interact with our audience to grow our brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively and reactively Develop (copy and design), implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and drive engagement across various platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Create, curate, edit and manage all published content (images, video, written) and monitor social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content pipeline is aligned with brand guidelines, voice, tone, and brand priorities. Develop and manage a cohesive social media identity that aligns with our overall marketing goals and strategies.
  • Engage with the audience, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive community experience.
  • Involved with planning and executed product launches, company announcements and activations on social channels and platforms to drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Monitor, track, and analyze social media performance metrics and provide social listening reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to share with senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Identify insights to optimize content and strategy for continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with brand marketing teams in terms of meeting goals and deadlines necessary for timely delivery of projects and creative assets.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and technologies.
  • Explore new ways to engage and new social networks to reach our target customers.

Experience

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Minimum 3 years of digital, social and content strategy or directly related experience.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, drive forward key initiatives and manage workflow on simultaneous projects.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing social media strategies.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media metrics and ability to interpret the results to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Must have strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the food & beverage industry a plus.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the year
